If your issue relates to a scan, include the scan ID or timestamp and whether the image was taken in-app or uploaded from your gallery.

What Iron Stag Supports

Iron Stag analyzes Whitetail and Mule Deer only. Images that do not contain a deer may be rejected.

Common Issues and Error Codes

  • 401 Unauthorized — log in again to refresh your session.
  • 403 Forbidden — scan limit reached or subscription not active.
  • 400 Bad Request — invalid image or missing data.
  • NOT_A_DEER — the image does not contain a Whitetail or Mule Deer.

  • Restart the app after installing the latest update.
