Iron Stag Data Deletion

How to request deletion of your Iron Stag account and associated data.

Delete Data Without Deleting Your Account

You can remove scans and images directly in the app without deleting your account.

Images are not stored on our servers. Scan results and metadata are stored so you can view history, and local images are stored on your device until you remove them.

Option 1: Delete Individual Scans

Location: History tab → tap any scan → trash icon.

  • Go to the History tab (bottom navigation).
  • Tap on any scan to view details.
  • Tap the trash icon in the header.
  • Confirm deletion.

What gets deleted: that specific scan and its analysis data.

Option 2: Delete All Scan History

Location: Profile tab → Storage Management → "Clear All Local Images".

  • Go to the Profile tab.
  • Scroll to the Storage Management section.
  • Tap "Clear All Local Images".
  • Confirm by tapping "Delete All".

What gets deleted: all scans from the database and all locally stored images.

Warning: clearing local images also removes scan history from the database and cannot be undone.

Option 3: Delete Old Scans Only

Location: Profile tab → Local Storage → "Clean Up Now".

  • Go to the Profile tab.
  • In Local Storage, select a cleanup interval (30/60/90/180 days or Never).
  • Tap "Clean Up Now".
  • Confirm deletion.

What gets deleted: scans older than the selected interval (both database and local).

Delete Your Account

You can delete your account directly in the app.

How users can delete their account

Location: Profile tab → scroll to the bottom → "Delete Account" button (red).

  • Open the app and go to the Profile tab (bottom navigation).
  • Scroll down to the Danger Zone section at the bottom.
  • Tap the red "Delete Account" button.
  • First confirmation dialog appears: "Delete Account?" → tap "Delete Account".
  • Second confirmation dialog appears: "Are you absolutely sure?" → tap "Yes, Delete My Account".

What gets deleted

  • All scan history and analysis results.
  • User account and profile information.
  • All locally stored images.
  • Password reset codes.

Result: you are signed out and returned to the login screen. The account no longer exists in the database.

How to Request Deletion

To request deletion of your Iron Stag account and associated data, email privacy@asgardsolutions.io .

Include the email address or identifier associated with your account and clearly state that you are requesting “account and data deletion” for Iron Stag.

What We Delete

Images are processed for analysis and are not stored on our servers.

  • Account profile information stored by us (for example: email address and display name).
  • Scan results, notes, and scan metadata associated with your account.
  • Password reset codes associated with your account.
  • Local images stored on your device when you clear storage or delete the app.

What We May Retain

  • Records required for legal, tax, security, or fraud-prevention purposes.
  • Billing and transaction records maintained by Apple or Google (which we may not control).
  • De-identified operational logs and diagnostics.
  • De-identified or aggregated analytics that cannot reasonably identify you.

How Long Deletion Takes

We aim to complete deletion within 30 days after verifying your request. In some cases, deletion may take longer due to legal or operational requirements; we will notify you if so.
